Anna turned 2 years old on Thursday. It was a great day. We decided to have a family party at home this year and it was really fun. So, in celebration of Anna, I'm going to tell you some things you may not know about my little birthday girl.
1. Anna must eat EVERYTHING with a "hork," (fork). This includes soup and cereal. She has to be the one to get it out of the drawer, OR ELSE!!

2. We think that Anna is a little OCD! Everything has to be clean and in its proper place. When we put her down for a nap, her blanket must be perfectly straight or she freaks out. She won't let her hands be dirty for more than a few seconds and when it's bath time, if she finds any dirt or hair in the water, it must be removed immediately!! She says "YUCKY, YUCKY!!" There is no calming down until things are back in order.

3. She hates when the heater comes on. She cries and begs me to turn it off!
4. She loves to pretend play. She has a kitchen and play food that she spends hours at making cakes and eating hot dogs. She loves making all of the noises of the kitchen with her mouth. It's pretty cute.
5. Her new favorite way to get attention is to cry, "I hurt". She'll cry and cry for ice because ice just makes everything feel better.
6. Josh threw a snowball at the window last week as Anna was looking out. She used to be afraid of the snow but ever since that day, she loves to pick up the snow and throw it too. The only bad part is that after about 10 seconds, she starts screaming at the top of her lungs because for some reason her hands are freezing. This repeats several times a day!
7. At the grocery store, she loves to put all of the produce in the little baggies and then put them in the buggy herself. This continues on throughout the store and everything that is in the cart is there because she put it there.
8. She is OBSESSED with babies. She feeds them, puts them down for naps, covers them with blankets, burps them, and kisses them goodnight.
9. She is really learning her primary songs well. She knows several songs now but she demands the same three songs for bedtime every night, "The Chapel Doors", "I Love to See the Temple", and "Pioneer Children".
10. She is the most observant child ever! As we're driving around she notices every mailbox, bus, and truck. It amazes us.
11. She knows all of her letters and their sounds. The other day I was shredding some chicken and she picked up a piece to eat. As she picked it up, it split and she yelled, "Y!!!". And indeed it did look like a Y.
12. She loves her nursery teacher and calls her on her play phone all day long. It's cute.
13. I call Anna my princess all the time. However, if I ever ask her if she's my princess, she quickly replies, "Daddy's princess". If Josh ever asks if she is his princess, she says, "Mommy's princess". Sometimes she even says that she is Andrew's princess.
14. She slept in her big girl bed today for the very first time and was SO proud of herself.
15. Sometimes I catch her doing bellyflops on the video monitor during naptime.
16. She loves ring-a-round the rosie, especially when she's running around on our bed. It's a nightly ritual at the Lee home.
17. She is extremely helpful with Andrew. She loves rubbing his tummy with soap during baths, snapping his sleepers, and giving him bottles. It's sweet.
I feel really grateful for this little angel who has taught me so much throughout her life. Being a mom has a steep learning curve and I'm grateful that she is helping me along the way. Happy Birthday my princess.
Andrew turned 3 months old this week. We have so much fun with him. His new favorite thing is smiling at himself in the mirror. It's cute. He's been having a hard time taking bottles lately, and we finally got him to drink out of one last night. Hallelujah!! We were so proud of him. 
These are a few pictures after Anna's bath. She likes to "snuggle" in her bed as we read her stories and sing her songs. 
She's doing awesome in her big girl bed. It won't be long now and she and Andrew will be sharing a room. We'll see how that plays out....
