School Ended

Life before our move was busy indeed.  Finishing up school and callings, packing and cleaning our house, fitting in swim lessons, setting everything in order for our big move, saying good-bye to friends, attending end of year activities and plays.  Life was just busy!!
Above is a picture from Anna's kindergarten musical performance.  They did such a cute job with all of their songs and dances.  I was so proud of all her hard work.  Hawk's Rise Elementary became very near and dear to my heart.  It was a great school with great staff.  I loved how much Anna learned while she was there.  She made some great friends.  I loved watching her progress throughout the two years we were there.
Andrew went to school at Wildwood Preschool.  They were so wonderful!  I could not have asked for a better program.  His teacher, Ms. Jennifer, was the best!  She was perfectly suited for Andrew too.  She definitely kept things in order and had the kind of discipline that Andrew needed while still showing lots of love and support.  I imagine that can be hard for teachers sometimes to find that balance.  She did it though!  Andrew made some really sweet friends.  His favorite thing to play on the playground with his friends was Star Wars.  He loved going to art with Ms. Kristin.  He hated going to chapel because it was "so boring".  I loved the experience he gained from being in a real classroom, learning how to work with others, and being in such a positive environment.  The 2015-2016 school year was a true success.  I couldn't have asked for anything better.

We had a big graduation ceremony for Andrew's preschool.  It was so, so cute!  I love all of the props they made, the songs they sang, and their sweet little dances.  In the picture below, Andrew said he wants to be a pilot when he grows up!
Here he is starting his graduation walk.
Andrew receiving his "diploma" from Pastor Barksdale.

He's right in the center.  I'm pretty sure he was the tallest one in the whole school.

How could you not love that sweet boy!

This is Ms. Jennifer!  I just adored her, and she loved my Andrew!
 Eating ice-cream after the graduation.
 Love, love, LOVE her!!

It was truly a great year!!

Spring Break 2016

Spring break feels like forever ago but I'm determined to not let this blog die.  So, here we are playing catch up.  We had a fun spring break just relaxing at home.  We spent our time at playgrounds, splash pads, running in the sprinklers, eating ice-cream, and just relaxing at home.  It was a fun week for everyone.

My little sweeties really love each other.

This is childhood at its best!

This is Daniel's expression every time I ask him to smile.  Love him!

All we needed was Jenna in this line up.  Anna always has to be first!  The boys are pretty easy going and just follow suit.

It was a little too cool for the splash pad but the kids didn't mind too much.  It beat being stuck at home anyways.

Jenna was super apprehensive the whole time.  By the end of the trip, she started to kind of warm up but just barely.

We got rid of her pacy several months ago so it's weird for me to see her with one in her mouth.  It was a hard transition for Jenna and for me.  I'm glad we got rid of it but I certainly couldn't have done it without Josh's strong will.

We told the kids that we would take them to Nuberri for good behavior.  Let's just say, we barely made it.  ;-)

Jenna's face just kills me here.  She was not feeling the flavor!

Jenna has made few messes like this.  When Andrew was this age, it seemed to be constant destruction every where he went.  It's like he left a little tornado trail everywhere he walked.  She had so much fun getting dirty though that I had to take a picture, of course.
