November was a really fun month. Andrew's school put on a Fall Festival at his school. The kids prepared the cutest little program. They sang the song, "Albuquerque the Turkey" and "Five Fat Turkeys". I thought I would melt into a puddle right there from the cuteness. I loved watching them. They also made cute little shirts for their special day.

After their program, they had lots of fun things for the kids to do outside. There was a train ride, a professional face painter, a bouncy house, live animals to pet, horse rides, and food galore to eat. The kids had such a fun time.

I thought that my boys would be too afraid to ride the little ponies, but they were super brave. I think Daniel may have liked it the most.
I love seeing my kids do things that make them happy. It's wonderful.
Andrew got some pretty awesome flames on his arm. He was obsessed with them.
Josh has had lots of business trips over the past few months. While he was gone on one of these trips, the kids and I decided to make the best out of our time at home. We made some fun crafts and these adorable little turkey cupcakes that I found on Pinterest. The kids had so much fun, and it helped to pass the time quickly while Dad was away.
Jenna even got in on the action. She grabbed the bag of Reece's Pieces and they went EVERYWHERE. What would a day be like in the Lee household without 10 spills?
For Thanksgiving, we went up to my parents' house to enjoy the week. I love going home. My mom is always so willing to watch my kids so that Josh and I can get away and take a little break. We're so grateful for her. Josh and I got to go up to the temple that week. It's so nice to not to have to worry about the kids at all while we're away. The kids LOVE going to Granny's house. My mom has this steep hill in her back yard that we like to take full advantage of. We grabbed some boxes and lids and slid down the hill about one million times. By the end, we were standing and surfing down the hill. Basically, we got the whole sledding experience without the freezing snow. It was perfect. Not to mention that it kept the kids occupied for several hours every day. Win!!

It was like this for hours on end.
One night, we had a little pizza party with some of my mom's friends from her ward. We even pulled out the chocolate fountain and got nice and messy. Daniel only liked dipping things in the chocolate. He wasn't too in to actually eating any of it.
That's proof that it was a successful night.
Thanksgiving was wonderful. We stayed in our jammies all day and took things easy. There was still lots of cooking going on but we kept it as simple as we could. I tried cooking the turkey without a bag this year and it turned out great. It was surprisingly very moist and had a good flavor. We also had mashed potatoes, dressing and gravy, sausage stuffed mushrooms, spinach artichoke dip, a veggie platter, rolls, cranberry sauce, and pie.
Anna and Granny decorated the table together. They did a great job; everything looked beautiful.

Anna is such a Granny's girl. She is just like my mom and me. It's amazing how we all have such similar personalities.
The next day we went down to the Riverwalk to take some pictures for Bryan and Ashley. My kids came along and had fun playing on all of the big rocks. Jenna was especially smiley that morning so I had to capture it.
Apparently, Anna thought something was hilarious!
We play lots of tag in our family. Always a good time.
Thanksgiving was wonderful. We loved being able to spend time with our family. Those are always the best memories.
