Our Little Sunbeam

Today was Anna's first day in nursery at church. She hit the eighteen month mark on Tuesday and is now officially a nursery girl. I had full faith that she would do great and love every minute of it. However, I think she was a little scared and didn't like it very much. She has fantastic teachers though, so I know it won't be long until she's loving it like the rest of them. We had to take a picture of her big day. This is just the start of big days for this girl. It's really fun as the parent. We were just so happy for her!

Anna Banana

How could you not just love this girl? Anna is so much fun. These are just a few pictures we took of her this past week. Her hair looks extra curly. This is the cute little face we see all day long.

She looks like a basketball coach, trying to figure out what the next play should be. :-)

More Pictures

These are the last of our Georgia pictures. This picture below is of Anna helping me use the beaters. She LOVES holding them. She smiles and laughs the whole time. It's adorable. We tried all kinds of different swim devices with Anna and she refused all of them. She just wants to be held the whole time. Thank goodness she has a great daddy for that.
We got to visit my grandma several times while we were there. It was really great to see her.

Anna loved seeing the water. As soon as we'd pull up, she would start running down the hill without hesitation to be the first one there.
We also learned that "Head Shoulders Knees and Toes" is her favorite song. She can't do it very well but she's learning.
Anna loved sitting with Grandpa on the swing and watching the doggie.
While we were there, we went to visit a family that had this incredible property. It was unreal. I think every part of their land was a picture perfect spot.
They let us drive their cart. I felt like a little girl. It was so much fun.
This is a picture of their barn that he designed and built himself. He even hand poured these stones and dyed them to look like real stone. It was incredible.

Anna's Best Friend

Anna fell in love while we were in Georgia, with our dog. This top image is Anna trying to give her kisses. I don't think Ethel was quite ready for that. From the moment Anna woke up every morning, all she could say was "doggie", about a million times. Once she wanted her, there was just no turning back. These are just a few of the cute "doggie" pictures we got while we were there.
This was their staring contest.
Chasing Ethel all around the house.
Her favorite thing to do was to sit on the step and bark out orders telling the dog to eat!! She would point to the dog bowl and look at Ethel and as forcefully as she could, yell, "Eat!!" Again, about a million times. It was hilarious. Now she knows how we feel when we're desperately trying to get her to eat.

This looks like they're getting ready to draw their weapons.
Trying to see who could get on the table first. Luckily, Anna lost.

25 Weeks

I am 25 weeks along now and boy is time flying by. I am definitely feeling more and more pregnant everyday. I even started the pregnancy waddle. I don't mean to but it just feels better. We just got back from Georgia last night and we're exhausted. We had such a great trip, but now after a long day of traveling, all I can do is sit on my bed and do nothing.
I know this picture below is not the best picture of me but look at my sweet little Anna. I don't think they come sweeter than this. She thinks my belly is her new pillow. She loves snuggling up to me and resting her head on her little baby brother. It's precious. Every time she does it, my heart just melts. There is just no better thing in the world than being a mommy. I just LOVE that girl!!

Festivities

We went up to Atlanta to visit my brother and celebrate the 4th of July, (on the 5th of July). It was really fun. We grilled hamburgers and hot dogs, let the kiddies swim in a baby pool and played lots of Mexican Train. We had a great time.

This is Anna's new favorite toy. Too bad we don't have one at our house. Amanda made the CUTEST 4th of July dessert. It was delicious!
This is everyone playing Mexican Train after lunch.

Anna really looks like she is contemplating something serious here.

The pool was fun but it didn't hold a candle to the sprinkler. They both LOVED it! We turned it down really low so it wouldn't shoot up high and it was perfect!

They both thought that eating the sprinkler was the best idea.

Down on the River

We finally got Anna in some pigtails. I never thought it would happen. She HATES having anything in her hair with a passion. No matter what I try, nothing seems to work. Yesterday though, we had a breakthrough. Of course, we had to document. Is that cute or what?
We finally made it out on the river yesterday. We had SO much fun. Unfortunately, I couldn't do anything since I'm pregnant but Anna and I had a great time watching Daddy and just riding in the boat. Josh rated the boat trip on a scale of one to ten and gave it an eleven. I'd say that is pretty good.

Grandpa was our driver. It was great!
Josh got up on the wake board. He did really well, but has very sore muscles today.
Check out that face!!

So handsome!
This is to document the wind blown hair.
