Josh in D.C.

Josh spent a few days in Washington D.C. for an accounting conference with the AAA.  While he was there, he got to do a little site seeing.  I loved getting all of the pictures and was jealous I wasn't there with him.  He said it was really fun to see all of these great sites.  Check out his pics.

Happy Birthday Kellie

Andrew is quite a character.  He's actually quite funny.  I think he'll be a social butterfly and try to entertain people.  That is his personality now at least.  We spend every night after the kids go to bed talking and laughing at all of the cute and funny things that he and Anna did during the day.  It is my favorite time of day.  Let me give you an example....
Andrew often will be running around playing and getting into things as I'm getting ready in the morning.  Then, all of the sudden, he begins shouting at the top of his lungs, "I WANT TO EAT!!  I WANT TO EAT!!  I WANT TO EEEAAAAAAT!"  ;-)

While we were in GA, we threw my sister a surprise birthday party since we wouldn't be able to celebrate on her actual birthday.  It was fun!  Today is Kellie's real birthday.  The big 2-1.  She is such an amazing, inspiring, loving, selfless person.  I love her so much.  I hope I can be as good to her as she's been to me.  Happy Birthday Kell!

The kids went nuts over the birthday balloons.  Once they figured out that you could pop a balloon with your bum, they spent the next 30 minutes trying to accomplish just that.  They weren't ever successful but sure had fun trying.

And here is your biggest Mitt Romney fan on the planet.  Josh had a conference in DC while we stayed behind at my parents house.  He said there was lots of Romney stuff everywhere, so he brought my mom a Romney chocolate bar home.  She loved it!

Anna and Josh were quite handy while helping my mom put together a little picnic table for the grand kids.  She loves to be a helper.

Our Beach Vacation

I'm finally getting around to blogging about our vacation.  I have a lot of pictures here and there are still more to come.  We had such a great time.  It's always great to be with family.

Here are Andrew and Jacob, just three months apart, enjoying their dinner on the floor.  ;-)  We usually just strip Andrew down to nothing but a diaper to save us doing mounds more laundry.  There is no messier eater than Andrew Gregory Lee.
 We loved building sandcastles together.

We got this squirt gun at the dollar store and the kids were obsessed with it.  Good buy!

We also found Anna's goggles at the dollar store.  I don't think they would have really worked but she was just in it for the show.  She will hardly put her face under the water so, also good buy!

Funniest moment of the trip....
After we spent an hour or so at the beach, the kiddos were ready for the pool.  Well, surprisingly, the pool was MUCH colder than the ocean.  I never even got all the way in because it was so cold.  I don't think that temperature really phases little kids though.  Anna and Andrew jumped right in and swam around like little fishes.  Well, Josh decided to get in the hot tub to warm up.  Andrew saw his sweet dad in the hot tub and immediately wanted to join him.  Running full speed he jumps in the hot water, thinking it was the same thing as the big pool.  He quickly realized that huge difference in temperature. You should have seen his little face.  Josh and I both saw what was happening as he was canon balling mid air.  He got out so fast and just looked baffled.  It was SO funny!

These guys are buds.  Serious buds.  Andrew LOVED Grandpa more than anyone else.  They just really bonded.  Grandpa was so good to him.  It was fun to watch them play together.

 Favorite picture ever!
Andrew practicing his somersaults.  He has gotten really good at them.  This picture was of his early attempts.  I'll have to post a video of him doing them.  It's the cutest thing.

Anna could NOT wait to ride the Ferris wheel.  I was really surprised that she didn't even have one ounce of fear in her.  She was so brave and SO excited.  I got to take her up.  I loved doing it with her.  It was a great time to be together.

Look at that face!

She even got to ride the airplane with Aunt Kellie!
We went to eat at Pineapple Willy's the last night there.  It was so fun to all be together.

More to come....
