Grateful

When I was in college, I used to think that a good day consisted of going to class, studying for a few hours, completing some assigments, perhaps going to the gym, and then hanging out with friends. Now, however, I think a good day is when I get to play with my kiddos all day and not have to worry about errands or deep cleaning. I think my days now are far more fun than they ever were in college. Today, I feel extra grateful to be a stay at home mom.
Andrew sportin' the sweats!
If you know Andrew at all, you know he can't keep his hands out of his mouth. He just gnaws on them ALL day long.
I was showing Anna the pictures of Andrew, and she was really upset that there were none of her. So, we took some, and she loves looking at them!

He now weighs 18 big ol' pounds. What a chunk!

V-Day and Updates!

Happy belated Valentine's to everyone! Josh and I had an awesome Valentine's Day. I really love this holiday. I haven't blogged in a while so there are a TON of pictures here. Beware!
Josh fixed up our wedding pictures and framed them so we could display them in our house. I love them. He did an awesome job.
And here is my little cutie! He is such a happy, chunky baby. I just love him to pieces!

So happy he just can't stand it anymore.
Someone gave us this tiger for Andrew and Anna insists that it is hers. She gets really upset if I mention that it's Andrew's. Believe it or not though, she is actually really good at sharing.
Anna's friend Brie came over today to play while her mom did some visiting teaching. Anna was in HEAVEN! She loves Brie to death and was so happy to have her over.
Anna was taking a "picture" of Brie with her play camera.
Brie wanted to make sure she looked good in it.

Anna even fed her some fish. Oh, so sweet.
Brie wanted to play with the kitchen, but Anna INSISTED that they color instead.
Andrew wore his first polo today, and I think it makes him look so grown up. It's crazy how fast time is flying. In just a week or two, he can start eating rice cereal. I thought that day would never come with Anna. It's really crept up on us this time.

Just gotta love those chunky legs.
I try to do tummy time before nap time every day so I can wear him out. Today, I put him on his stomach, and he just rolled over, like 15 times in a row. I guess he didn't want to do tummy time.

Rollin' Rollin' Rollin'

Doesn't he just look so proud of himself? Well, he should....
Andrew rolled over last night! I was SO excited. He was doing tummy time while I was giving Anna a bath and all of the sudden, I looked over and he was on his back. I was just beside myself. I missed seeing him actually do it, and he didn't do it again but I'm sure I'll get to see it soon. My little chubber is growing up.

He is a little social bug, that's for sure!

I weighed him yesterday. He is almost 17 pounds! Isn't that insane. He's not even four months old yet.

His hair is starting to come back. It looks kind of red in this picture but not in real life.

And here's Anna. She has the funniest, crazy personality. She spent over 30 minutes this morning running in circles around our kitchen table. She laughed the whole time. At least she's easy to entertain, (sometimes).
Yesterday, I went in to get her from her nap and she had taken off her diaper, wet the bed, and smeared A&D cream all over her face and all over her penguin. That wasn't much fun for Mom but I think she had a good time. :-/

Once There Was a Snowman

Once there was a SNOWMAN, snowman, snowman.... Once there was a snowman,....
Tall, Tall, Tall!!!
In the sun he melted, melted, melted. In the sun he melted, small, small, small.
We had a great snow day yesterday. When we looked out our windows in the morning, we were pleasantly surprised to find several inches of fresh snow. Josh and Anna made the CUTEST snowman you've ever seen, and I don't think I've ever seen Anna happier. It was a great day!

Uh, hello. SO CUTE!
