Life has been good lately. We are excited for school to get out in just three days. It's been a good first year with school. Anna has done wonderfully, and we're excited to see what's in store for next year. These first few pictures are from when the boys helped me make some jam a few weeks ago. Andrew especially loves homemade jam, and he was so excited to help out.
The kids have been doing really funny things lately. I thought I'd document it here so they can go back and read this when they're older. A few days ago, Andrew and I were cleaning the toy room together. Daniel had been outside playing with the hose pipe. Daniel comes in a few minutes later with this little smirk on his face. He totally looked guilty. I asked him what he did. He didn't say anything, just gave me a suspicious smile. I kept prodding, trying to get him to show me what he was doing. Finally, after several minutes, Daniel sprays Andrew in the face with a mouth full of water. I about died! That little boy had filled up his mouth with water and then very carefully made sure not to swallow. I'm sure he was waiting for me to leave the room before spraying Andrew. He probably questioned in his mind, is this going to be worth the trouble I will get in with mom. He just couldn't hold it in anymore. I really got on to him and he had a nice long time out. However, Josh and I were rolling when I told him that night after they were asleep. That little stinker.
Andrew got really upset with me the other day because I wouldn't cut down the trees outside. He told me he needed wood to make a shield and just could not understand why I wouldn't just cut down the trees. Haha!
Anna was reading a story from The Friend magazine last night and really felt love from God while she read it. She told me at the end that she had one happy tear. I love that girl.
Jenna is doing wonderfully. I think it won't be much longer before she starts walking. She's pulling up on things and crawling with straight legs. Her strength is really improving. Right now, she's in a phase where every time you come close to her, she holds her little arms up for you to pick her up. It melts my heart every, single time.
This was from a while ago but we used these candy jars to help the kids listen to General Conference. Every time they heard one of these words, they got to eat one candy from the cup. It was a real testament to me of how often our church leaders testify of Jesus Christ. Those kids were on a sugar high for sure!
Anna had field day at her school a few weeks ago. It was blazing hot!! We were melting. She loved it though. We got to go and cheer her on. Her class was called, "Ms. Randall's Wise Owls." They all had matching purple shirts. It was a fun day for all.
This is Anna's best friend Katie. Katie wrote on her end of year sheet that her favorite part of Kindergarten was meeting her best friend, Anna. Such a sweetheart! I'm so glad that Anna has such a sweet, good girl for a best friend.
The hula hoop contest was quite impressive. They were running and hula hooping at the same time. Those Kindergartners would beat me for sure. A little boy in Anna's class won first place. It was really cute to watch.
On the same day as field day, the Kindergarten class held the "World Tour." Throughout the year they learned songs from all over the world with cute hand motions. Anna got to do a special speaking part, and she did great. I was so proud. She definitely slept well that night.

I just snapped a few pictures of Jenna to document her growth. I sure love this girl. She is the easiest baby ever. She rarely cries, sleeps like a champ, eats like a champ, and is ALWAYS smiling. I'm so, so glad she's in our family.
