Georgia, 4th of July 2013, and More

I LOVE Anna's art.  Like, I'm totally obsessed with it.  I love all of the detail she puts into it.  If she draws a girl, she always puts fingernail polish on, curls their hair and is sure to give pink to girls and blue to boys.  It's just the cutest thing.  This picture above though is truly one of my favorites.  This is a family portrait.  Josh and I are in the middle, she labeled herself and Andrew.  And then there's Daniel.  Yes, he looks like a dog!  Isn't that the funniest thing you've ever seen?  Love it!
These pics are from Father's Day.  All of the kids took Dad a balloon with his breakfast in bed and other gifts.  Daniel couldn't carry his so we just tied it around his belly and let him crawl in.
Here are a few of her princess paintings.  Cinderella.
 Belle.
Tiana.  Notice that she even has the right color skin, dress, and hair for each princess.
 Aurora, aka Sleeping Beauty.
Ariel.  This is after the pink dress Ariel wears as her first day of being a human.
 Love her!

 And this is Andrews.  ;-)
Here begins our GA trip pictures.  We just got back from a wonderful vacation with my family.  We just love being there.  Our kids adore their grandparents.  It's a long drive but so worth it.  We miss being there terribly.  When we're on vacation, a lot of the normal rules go out the window.  Why?  Because it's VACATION!  Duh!

We had a great 4th.  It rained, and rained, and rained, and then it rained some more.  However, the brief time during the day that it didn't rain, we went out and had a blast.  Our fireworks even got cancelled.  That didn't stop us though from having a great time.
 Melts. My. Heart.
Amanda and her boys came down and all the kids had a great time together.  We just adore them.

Daniel had a great time watching out the window.
We made a ton of food.  What's a 4th of July party without a ton of food?
It was really fun to decorate and make it feel really festive.  There are few people in the world that I love more than this girl.  She has just blessed my life in so many ways.
 God bless America!
This was that brief period of no rain.  We had to sparkler it up!

Andrew refused to wear shoes, (he is totally my child), and he kept saying, "Ow, ow, ow!"  The sparks kept getting on his feet but he didn't care.

After sparklers, we had a festive dessert.  It was delicious!

Granny has a "secret pool" at her house.  It's at the top of her hill and kind of hidden from the bottom.  Great for kids!  It was surprisingly cold.  Every year that we come, the pool is like a bath.  It's so hot!  That was just not the case this year.

He can barely see because the goggles were squishing his eyes so much.
 Sweetest boy!
Daniel went right to Amanda.  He really liked her.  He would hardly go to anyone else.

Daddy was the swim buddy that day.  Anna has learned to swim and loves it.  She's really good.

Daniel is working on his swim lessons here.  ;-)
 SO cute!
 Aren't those two handsome?

Lots, lots more to come.
