Disney World

 We decided we should take advantage of living so close to Disney World.  Florida residents get some pretty sweet deals for living here.  The package we bought got us tickets for $46/day.  That is amazing!  We loaded up our car and headed down to the magic.  Our expectations were pretty high because of our last experience.  We took the kids down two years ago and it was truly magical.  This time the adult to kid ratio was 2:4.  Last time it was 3:3.  HUGE difference.  No thank you.  We will probably never take anyone under the age of four again, unless we have an adult to accompany them.  We had fun but we really needed an extra adult there.  Jenna needed warm water for her bottles every two hours, (which you can only get at the very front of the park).  It was cold, rainy, and super windy.  We were not dressed properly.  To my credit though, the forecast said it was going to be 70 degrees with a low of 58.  It ended up being in the upper 30's with tons of wind.  Being wet on top of that just made it slightly miserable.  However, most of the day was super fun.  By the time we drove home the next day, we were only talking about all of the fun things we did.  The fun outweighed the bad but we won't go again unless we can improve that adult to kid ratio.

 Earlier that week, Andrew had a really bad bike accident in our front yard.  Basically his cheek took the brunt of it and was bruised and bleeding like crazy.  His poor cheek got super swollen and I had to give him medicine to help with the pain.  Poor thing.  All of his pictures look like he got into a fight.

 Breakfast at the hotel right before we took off.  The kids are all so proud of themselves that they can hold Jenna while standing up.  ;-)

 Let the fun begin!

 One of our friends let us borrow their double stroller.  We had ours too and having both of them SAVED us.  I can't imagine doing Disney without having a seat for every child to ride on.

 This was the kids favorite ride.  They loved that they could drive all by themselves.

 Buzz Lightyear was definitely Daniel's favorite.  We went on it a couple of times.  So fun!

 Anna loved Splash Mountain.  She claims it is the most fun thing ever!  Ha!  Andrew, on the other hand, had a different experience.  It scared him to death.  However, two years ago, he went on it and loved it.  So, yeah....

 There's that cheese face again.  Ha!

 We ate at Belle's Castle.  Oh. My. Gosh!  That is the coolest place that Disney has to offer.  It was so beautiful and perfectly organized.  We got a magic rose in the beginning and after we ordered, we took the rose with us to our table.  Once our food was ready, the waiters wheeled it out and knew exactly where to go because our our magic rose.  I was super impressed.  We didn't have to wait at all either so win, win!  The food was absolutely delicious.  My mouth is watering just thinking about it.  The dining hall we ate in was designed to look like the ballroom in the Beast's castle.  It was gorgeous!  It was "snowing" outside the windows.  There was a huge mural on the vaulted ceiling.  Gorgeous blue drapes were beautifully placed all around the ballroom.  Super, super impressed.  Growing up, Beauty and the Beast was always my favorite Disney movie.  I would spend the night with my Granny and watch this with her.  Such good memories.

My favorite part of Disney World is the waiting area for the Dumbo ride.  They give you a buzzer and your kids can play on a huge playground while you wait in line.  Then, they buzz you when it's your turn.  Genius!

The parade they have in the afternoon was the highlight of our day.  We got to see all the characters up close.  So fun!

We were shocked that Anna and Elsa didn't have a bigger float all to themselves.

We just love the 3D movie they have.  The kids reach their little hands out the whole time to see if they can actually touch the objects coming out in front of them.

By about dinner time, the temperature really dropped and we were COLD.  We tried talking the kids into going home early and skipping the parade.  They wanted to wait though so we agreed.  After a couple of hours, and twenty minutes before the parade started, the kids caved and wanted to go home.  Even though we had waited for so long, we quickly agreed and left.  We were so tired and wet and cold.  Home was what we needed.

Here we are the next morning.  We all felt better after a good breakfast.  Josh and I went to the temple before we headed back to Tallahassee.  It was a really fun trip and we are so excited to go back again soon.

Valentine's Day

 Ever since Jenna was born, and before, I have really gotten off my game of documenting our life with my camera.  I used to be so good at always taking pictures and keeping up with life.  I've decided to recommit myself and get clicking.  The above pictures I turned black and white and put them in Anna's room.  They look great in there.  I'm posting some house pictures in a couple of weeks and will reveal the end result then. Anna has now lost SIX teeth.  It's amazing that girl can eat apples of carrots but somehow she manages.  Anna is doing great in school and has even started to tinker around with the piano.  Her heart is so pure.  That girl is a straight arrow.  She always has been.  She knows the rules and is always sure to follow them.  Love her!

 This little Jenna is my heart!  She probably gets one million kisses a day from me.  I simply cannot help it.  I just adore her.  She is sitting up without support now and is on the brink of crawling.  I love seeing her try.  She is getting really active now and her cry has changed from a cute newborn cry to an ear piercing scream.  Lovely!

 I know I already posted these but I thought I'd post the color version.  These went in my laundry room and look adorable.  Love those messy kids.

 She is really growing up.  It's amazing how much she's matured this year.

 We had a great Valentine's Day.  Last year, we were alone on Valentine's Day.  Josh had his last interview on V-day last year.  It seems like that was a life time ago.  So much has changed since then.  We had to start the day off right with pink heart-shaped pancakes, of course.

Soccer Season Party

I have been so far behind in my blogging that I can't remember what I've posted and not.  These pictures are from over a month ago when we had our end of season soccer party.  The kids loved playing soccer and were sad that it came to an end.  They did great and really improved over just a few short months.  With Josh being the coach, we were both glad to have a break.  It was fun but it is definitely good to have a break.

 They all got trophies with their names on them.  They thought it was AWESOME, let me tell you.  Even if they hated soccer, they would do it again just for the trophy.

 Goooooo Panthers!!

 Landon Mauler was our assistant coach.  He and Josh are great friends and it was fun to watch them coach together.  It definitely makes it more fun when you're with people that you get along with so well.

 The cupcakes at the party were about 60% frosting, 40% cake.  The kids loved them but yuck.  I am not a frosting girl, at least, not like that.

 I'm trying to remember to get as many photos of the four kids together as I can.  When Anna and Andrew were little, I only ever took separate pictures of them because it was so much easier.  I regret it now because I love seeing them all together.  It's amazing how I can see each of their little personalities in every photo.

 We've started a babysitting co-op with some of our friends.  It's been AMAZING!!  I would totally recommend doing this to anyone.  We have four families who are in our group.  We go on dates twice a month for three hours at a time.  That means that you only have to babysit once every two months.  Now, that's a deal.  I LOVE IT!!  They are all such cute kids too.  We're making some great memories here.
