They Got Hitched

As I mentioned earlier, my brother got married last week. We are all so happy for Bryan and his new, sweet wife. We love her and are so excited to have her in the family. Her are just a few pics from their big day.

A Day at the Lake

This is Andrew's face saying,"Where have you been?" It feels like we haven't blogged in a million years. We are currently vacationing in Georgia with my family. My brother, Bryan, got married last week so we came down for the wedding and some relaxing fun times. I have about one billion wedding pictures to post and one billion blogs to catch up on so watch out. They're coming soon!
Yesterday, we took the kids down to my Grandma's dock and went on the raft with Anna. It was really fun. Here are a few pics to document the occasion.

I sat on the grass with Andrew while Josh and Anna floated around. We switched off a couple of times so we could both do it. The weather could not have been more perfect.

Cougars, Cougars, Cougars!!

Anna is braver than I am. She jumped in the lake with her daddy! She was a little scared at first but really liked it by the end. She definitely didn't get her courage from me.

We put the float on the dock for a minute and Andrew had a ball. This was his way of participating in our family outing.

He was totally into this little loop. We could barely pry him away.

Anna kept calling the lake "dirty water." She could not be more correct. The lake is really muddy but really fun too.

It was a GREAT day!

Anna loves to sing!

Anna now insists she sing on her own when we put her down at night. Here are two really cute videos. The first one is "Families Can Be Together Forever" and the second is "I am a Child of God." We sure do love this girl.

Happy Easter

Happy Easter everyone! Josh and I just barely got to spend Easter together. I spent this past week with my family in Georgia. I was scheduled to fly home on Saturday but the St. Louis airport got hit by a tornado. The whole airport was closed because there was so much damage. I didn't know how long it would take but I ended up going home the next day. It was great to see my family. My little brother, who isn't so little any more, returned from his mission in Merida, Mexico. It was wonderful to see him and get to spend a few days with him. I have about one BILLION pictures from that trip but they are all at home in Georgia, so you'll just have to wait.

When we walked in the door from the airport, Josh had our Easter string all ready for us. Anna grabbed her spool and went at it. She thought it was super fun and loved finding the chocolate at the end.

Andrew was jealous of Anna's Easter basket. It is so much fun having kids on holidays. It makes it so much more fun.

Andrew wanted to get started on that candy right away!

Happy Birthday Josh

Here's a big shout out to my birthday boy!! Josh turned 27 yesterday. I can't even begin to tell you how much I love this guy. Let's just say he's the most wonderful and perfect husband ever. I love getting to celebrate him on occasions like this.

We had a yummy birthday breakfast to kick off the day. I made him wait to open his presents so that Anna and Andrew could be there too. We brought him some birthday balloons to school and then went out to eat later that night. These are some of the pictures of the whole gang at Applebees.



After dinner we came back and had a birthday party, complete with balloons, streamers and noise makers. I wish I had caught Anna's expression on camera when she first heard the noise makers. She LOVED them, to say the least. Do you see her sneaking some frosting while Daddy is getting his picture taken? Typical.
The babies gave Daddy candy and he got a Boccee Ball set from me. Yay for birthdays!!
These are just a few pictures I had left on my camera. This was one happy day for Andrew. He's always happy, but he was in an especially good mood this day.


I've never seen him laugh so hard! It was melting our hearts.
