Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree

We decorated our house yesterday with Christmas galore! We have been talking about this for several weeks now because we couldn't wait to see Anna's excitment. She did not disappoint. She LOVED every second of it. After we finished decorating our tree, we undecorated it so she could do it again. Any time Anna gets upset about something, we remind her of the Christmas tree and she is immediately happy again. I don't think that Josh and I have ever had as good of a Christmas as this one. Children truly make the holidays magical!

Anna calls the Christmas ornaments apples. We haven't been able to convince her otherwise.

Thanksgiving 2010

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! We had a wonderful day yesterday. We made a big Thanksgiving dinner with the help from some of our friends. It turned out delicious! We just spent the whole day together as a family and really enjoyed ourselves. I love holidays. Now that we had our Thanksgiving dinner, we can start the Christmas music playing nonstop. We LOVE holidays!
This is a picture of Anna and Andrew on Thanksgiving morning. Those two are inseparable. It's darling. The turkey turned out really well. It was so moist and just fell apart at a glance.
This is what Andrew spent most of the day doing.
Josh carved our turkey!

The feast!! It was a lot of food for four people. Now, we're enjoying the leftovers. :-)

Kate, Christian, and Will Waldie. We had a great time sharing Thanksgiving day with them.
Andrew's look is kind of changing. I think he looks so handsome here. I just love this little guy.

Kisses....
They just LOVE each other!

First Day of Church

Today was Andrew's first day of church! We loved taking him. It was fun to dress him all up in his little vest and tie. He slept the whole three hours, so we REALLY loved taking him. It is crazy that we are doing this all over again. I remember Anna's first day of church like it was yesterday. It is so much fun having kids. Everything is really exciting all of the time.
When we got home, we figured that we should take some pictures to document the day. Well, Anna couldn't wait another minute to take her tights off so as I got the lighting correct on the camera, Josh took off her tights. This shot was totally on accident, and I love it!!
Family Picture!

Stylin'

This is just one reason why I love having a girl....

Check out these cute boots we bought for Anna. I love them! I am so, so happy that we have a girl and a boy! It's so much fun having one of each. I've been pleasantly surprised in the fact that boy clothes are really fun to shop for too. I always thought in my mind that girl clothes were just way more fun, but I think I was wrong. I love the little hoodies and vests and ties that only boys can wear. However, these boots are my new favorite thing we own. I'm glad that my little Anna likes them too. :-) We bought Anna some sidewalk chalk a long time ago, and she has shown a real interest in it lately. She loves to color. It is absolutely her new favorite thing to do. Now, we have chalk all over anything that can be colored. Our back yard is a masterpiece.

She also loves to play with the bubble wand. She thinks it's really fun to put it in the bushes in our back yard. This morning, we counted to three, said "go", and she would run to put the wand in the bushes as fast as her little legs would carry her. She squealed and laughed and then did it all over again. It entertained her for quite a while. It's been a good day!

Jealous?

This is what I am looking at right now. Andrew is curled up and snoring next to me on the bed. I don't think I could have asked for a sweeter boy. He is just precious. After I burped him today, he chuckled a little, and it made my day. My heart just melted. I'm telling you, there is nothing better in this world than being a mom.

Rub-A-Dub-Dub

These are a few pictures of Andrew's first bath. He absolutely hated every second of it. As soon as we wraped him up in his towel, he was as calm as a cucumber. He fell asleep right after we finished and slept really hard. Now we're thinking of giving him a bath right before Josh and I go to bed to help him sleep through the night better. He has been doing really well during the night but still has his "awake time". He is always very calm though. We feel so blessed to have this little guy. He is our little angel.
Anna hates it when he cries so she gave him lots of kisses when he got out. It was pretty cute.

All clean! Don't I look cute?
