Stone Mountain

On Friday, Diana's family came up from Columbus and we all went to Stone Mountain for the laser lights show. The mountain is one big rock and it has a big carving of Robert E. Lee on the side of it. It was really fun to go with everyone, even though the show was definitely only something we'd want to do once.

I'm growing...and so is my Banana bread!

My stomach is growing super fast now! This first picture is me just four weeks ago. Now, I'm 14 weeks and am really starting to show. I even wore my first maternity shirt today, (I didn't need to but I thought it would just be fun). I've only gained 1-2 pounds but supposedly it's about to hit hard and I'm going to gain a pound a week! It's been great lately; my morning sickness is almost completely gone and I've even stopped thinking that every food ever produced is gross. Lucky for Josh.
Ok, so not only is my stomach growing but so is my banana bread! On Sunday, we decided to make some bread for a Sunday night treat. Well, our bread pans are in Utah, but we have this big casserol dish. So, before we poured the batter we cut out some cardboard and taped it to divide the pan in half. It worked great! All the batter stayed on one side and we thought we did pretty good with our little invention. Well, once we took it out, the taped cardboard had been rooted up and the batter swelled to fill the entire pan. We thought it was pretty funny! The banana bread turned out GREAT! Maybe the cardboard even helped a little bit! ;-)

What we've been up to

We haven't been very good about getting pictures up here recently. Here's what we've been up to:

We got to go to another Braves game on July 2nd, this time with Ernst & Young. It was a lot of fun. The firm gave us $30 in "Braves Bucks." Most interns bought beer, but since we don't drink, we got Diana a new Braves shirt. She loved it!

Our 4th of July was really fun. We went down to Columbus to spend the weekend with Diana's family. We had a big barbecue and went out on the boat. We had such a great time! Diana made an awesome flag cake!

My internship is going great. I was on the AT&T Mobility audit for 3 weeks and I've been on ING for 1 week. This week, I'll be on ING again and then next week I'll be on Delta Apparel. After that, the firm flies all the interns from all accross the world to Orlando for a big Ernst & Young intern conference at Disney World. It should be fun, though I don't get to take Diana with me. :(

My Sweet Nephew

My brother Dale and his wife Amanda are staying with us for the week while they wait to move into their new place. Their sweet little baby David is keeping us all entertained. We've had so much fun having them here. This morning Amanda let me take some pictures of David. I can't wait to take a million pictures of my little baby. In the meantime, I'll practice on him.

My Greatest Treasure

I just want to brag for a minute here. I have such an amazing husband. Josh and I have officially been an item for a little more than a year and three months and it has been the happiest time of my life. Josh's sweet, kind demeanor and his capacity to love always amazes me. I am far from perfect, and I certainly make many mistakes but no matter what happens, Josh is there to love and support me in all that I do. I'm almost 13 weeks pregnant now and am still feeling the effects of morning sickness. My sweet husband has been wonderful to me throughout the whole process by getting me drinks, making me eat crackers when I don't want them but knowing it will make me feel better, (and it always does), and even holding my hair back when I loose my cookies. He has such a soft, loving heart. He treats me like a queen and expects nothing in return. I know he'll be a great daddy to our children because he's the best husband I could ever ask for. I love you Joshua!

Our 6-Month Anniversary!

Diana and I celebrated our 6-month anniversary last Saturday. It's really crazy how fast our first year together is going. To make it special, I got up a little early on Saturday while Diana was still sleeping and ran to the grocery store to get a rose and some Pop Tarts (she told me the day before that she'd been craving Pop Tarts). I made a smoothie and brought it in to her just as she was waking up. She loved it!

That day, we went to the temple and did a session. It was fun to think that only 6 months earlier we were there in the temple being sealed!

That night, we went to Olive Garden for dinner (after driving for nearly an hour trying to find it!) It was a lot of fun!

I am so grateful for such a wonderful wife! She is so good to me! I love you Diana!!!

Our Apartment in Atlanta

We promised some pictures of our apartment in Atlanta a while ago and thought we'd finally post them. We love our place! It's so nice (even though we barely have any furniture). It's about 8.5 miles from downtown right off of the freeway (though we're on the opposite side of the building so we can't hear it at all).
We love our covered parking!

We are so happy to have a washer and dryer!!!
We love sitting on the balcony, especially when the sun is going down or when there's a lightning storm.

Our walk-in closet is huge! Perfect for all of Diana's clothes! :)
We are so glad we got this place! We were so lucky to find it. It's so hard to find a place for just 2 months. Luckily, this lady needed to get rid of her lease just for the 2 months we needed it! Thank you Craigslist!
