October has been a good month for us. I can hardly believe it's almost over. It feels like Jenna was just born yesterday, and she's now six weeks old. Wow! We've had two birthdays this month. Daniel turned two on the 10th and Andrew turned four on the 25th. With two birthdays, Josh going out to BYU, Halloween parties, soccer practice, homework, dance lessons, and church responsibilities, we've been a little busy. I'm looking forward to some quieter days in November. Don't get me wrong though, I'm really grateful for all of these things. Here are a few pictures of our month so far. I'll blog about Andrew's birthday and our Halloween happenings later though.
I am loving holding Jenna as she curls up next to me. I know this phase doesn't last super long so I'm trying to soak it all in while I can. Nothing feels as good as a small baby sleeping on your chest.
Josh was out of town on Daniel's actual birthday, so we celebrated when he got back. Daniel loved hearing the "Happy Birthday" song and opening presents. He was a big fan of birthday cake too. He would live off of sugar if we let him. The picture below is of him on his birthday morning. We always do a special birthday breakfast. He got pumpkin cinnamon rolls. He didn't really love the roll but blowing out the candle was a hit. That's all that's really matters anyways.
Jenna also had her first day to church a few weeks back. Of course, that has to be documented. I love dressing her. She feels like a little doll. Boys are really fun to dress, but girls take the cake on that one. I love the headbands and tights and cute shoes for the little girls. It's so fun to have girls.
Anna held Jenna the other day while I cooked dinner. She actually did a great job and I got my stuff done in the kitchen. Win. Win! I thought Anna and Jenna looked so cute together. I had to snap a picture of them together. I really hope they will be close one day. The five and a half year age difference might make that hard for a while, but hopefully one day they will be close.
Such a ham.
He melts my heart.
A few things you may not know about Daniel....
Daniel is OBSESSED with airplanes and tractors. If he sees one, you WILL know about it....like it or not.
His favorite thing to do is jump on the trampoline. He could jump all day, and it's about the cutest thing you'll ever see.
He loves to burp Jenna and bring diapers to her.
His favorite food is fruit snacks and "can-can"...or candy.
He likes to pick out his own clothes every morning and gets mad when I won't let him wear two shirts.
He loves to shave with his Daddy in the mornings.
He loves helping me do laundry. His favorite part is putting the dryer sheets in and slamming the door shut.
He freaks out when he sees a bug and comes to find me every time.
Daniel hardly eats anything and Josh and I are always amazed that he's still alive.
Daniel is the sweetest, craziest two year old around, and we're so, SO happy that he's ours.
He was SO excited to get this helicopter. When he opened it, his response was, "Wow!!!"
This is what I got when I told him to show me his new book. Ha!
I love this picture. Two little boys peering inside to see what the treasure is.
Our sweet friend Jackie got him a bath toy that the boys are obsessed with. Andrew is always begging me to give him a bath just so he can play with this toy. Win!
"Oh, hey! Don't forget about me!"
Linda got Daniel this little bike and he LOVES it. We could not get him off of it that night. We kept telling him to come get his jammies on and as we walked towards him, he would just speed away on his little bike so we couldn't catch him. Little stinker!
We also visited a pumpkin patch for the first time a few weeks ago. We planned to get our pumpkin there but after realizing how much they cost, we took a few pictures and left. We then went to Wal-Mart and got them for $4. Ha!
Such a cutie! ....and I mean both of them.
Anna wanted that pumpkin so badly and would not stop hugging it. ;-)
Cheese!
That face!!
These pumpkins are more her size. ;-)
Here's some pictures of Jenna's second week to church. I just loved this little dress and had to capture it.
Love her!!
I love Fall time!!
