Soccer Camp

Several weeks ago, my friend put on a soccer camp for free for all the kids in our ward.  She was a brave woman to take on that many kids.  It was a blast.  The kids were in heaven.  Here are some pics from the week.
Andrew and Julieanne were too young to actually attend but they had a great time on the sidelines.

 Best buds.
This was a relay race they did at the end.  Huge success.  Everyone cheered and the kids were beaming.

Stretching before practice.  Not sure how effective it was....

Holding hands with your best friend just makes everything seem less scary.

Julieanne was playing duck duck goose with her friend, just the two of them.  Hilarious!

 That's my boy!

 Water break.
 The whole crew.
 Woo-hoo!
Learning to throw the ball in.

On the final day, they scrimmaged.  A little over the head of the four year olds.
 Oh wait, here comes Anna!
Oh wait, mid game she stops to pick wild flowers

Awesome, tiring week!

Bath Buddies

Just a few quick pics.  I love these little dolls.

Daniel looks a bit terrified.

Father and Son's

A few months ago, our church put on a Father's and Son's camp out.  This was Josh's first year taking Andrew.  They had a great time.  Andrew kept telling me that Daddy was taking him camping and "no girls allowed."  He, of course, said it in his meanest face.  Cutest. Thing. Ever.  Anna was pretty bummed that she couldn't go.  We had a fun girl's weekend at home and I think she was pretty excited about it.

Here they are right before taking off.
 SO excited!!
I had two things I wanted them to do while they were away.  Take lots of pictures, and have lots of fun!  Both got accomplished.  ;-)
 Look at that little smile.

Josh said that he threw rocks in the water almost the whole time.  It just never got old.  He is definitely a boy!
What is a camp out without a little baseball?
 ....and a huge bonfire.
