When the Cat's Away....

....The kids will play. Josh was out of town all last week which meant that I had the kids all by myself. I was a little nervous but it turned out to be a pretty good week. Anna made me take some pictures of her and "Anj." I guess you could say it's her new favorite thing to do.

The picture below has a giant bucket in the front but look at that face. I love it.
We did lots of backyard swimming. Andrew really got into it.

After putting her hair in a pony tail one day she exclaimed, "I'm a girl now!"

I ate a bite out my baby carrot the other day and as I went to eat the rest of it she tells me, "Don't eat it Mom, it's a temple!" I guess it looked like a spire of a temple.

I walked into the kitchen with Anna and asked her if she wanted something to eat to which she replied, "NO WAY Mom!!"

She has a nickname for everything. Her penguin has become her "peng", Andrew is "Anj", she often calls herself "Ann", (which I do too sometimes), and the list goes on.

I love hearing her talk. She's super fun!

A Good Morning

Josh helped someone move this morning, which meant that he got to stay home with us before he went to help. It was a wonderful treat to have him here with us. We just played and enjoyed being all together. Here are a few pics of the kids. Anna has nicknamed Andrew, "Anj." It's cute.

7 Months and Smiling

My little Andrew is growing like a weed. I can't believe he is already seven and a half months old. Wow! We've renamed Andrew, Mr. Happy Pants. That boy never stops smiling. He is always grinning ear to ear.
Andrew is starting to get into everything, and I mean everything!! His favorite spot is, of course, the bathroom. Gross, I know. If I forget to shut the door, I can almost always find him in there reaching for the toilet paper. His face lights up like a Christmas tree if he gets to play with it.
He's starting to pull up on everything too. I caught him trying to climb stairs the other day. And his babbling is really improving. He just jabbers all day long.

Josh and I always talk about he just lights up our family. He has such a good, happy spirit. You can't help but feel it. I am having so much fun being his mommy. He's even started to cuddle with me more. He'll reach his little hands up for me to hold him and then snuggle up to my chest.

He is definitely a Mama's boy. He follows me around the house like a little duck. He just army crawls to wherever I am. I love it. These pictures really are indicative of how he always is. We love him.

Cousins

Here are some pics of all of the Stewart side cousins. Aunt Amanda made little matching shorts and skirts for the kids so we could take some cute pictures. You can't see them all that well in these photos, but trust me, they were cute. Thanks Aunt Amanda!

More Pics

Here are a few more beach pictures. It was a great week with perfect weather and great company.

Anna and David love each other. ;-) I think Andrew couldn't be happier in the picture below. This is very typical of his mood. He's always happy!

Granny and Grandpa took care of the babies while everyone else did carnival rides.

Anna loved going up and down on the merry-go-round.

David had a blast on the ferris wheel. We went to a "famous" restaurant called Pineapple Willy's. It was really fun. Anna especially loved dancing to the music. It was fun to watch her be so happy.

We tried to take real family pictures on the beach. Um, yea that didn't work. The kids were having a really hard night. Here are our attempts. We won't be printing any of these.

Beach Trip 2011

Doesn't this place look like paradise? Yea, it was. We just got back from a week in Florida with my family. It was a WONDERFUL week. The best part wasn't the beach though but spending time with my family. I miss them so much already. Here are a billion pictures for you to see our adventures of the week.
