Everything is Fun in Georgia!

 Here begins a ridiculous amount of photo-filled blogs from our vacation.  We all had a great time and ate way too much.  Just how vacation should be. 
This first photo is right after our long 12 hour drive.  We all looked a bit disheveled but were happy to be there.  Grandpa surprised the kids with gift for the pool.  They each got a cool float to swim with. 

 There is no such thing as a Stewart reunion without eating at a Mexican restaurant.  It just doesn't make sense.  So, here we are!

 We took the kids out on a little tubing trip on the good ol' Chattahoochee.   They loved it!

 Unfortunately, being 7 months pregnant means to water sports for me.  So, Josh readily took my spot and went with the kids on the tube.  Anna was the first one out there and loved every minute of it.  I was actually really surprised at how adventurous she was.  She wasn't scared in the least bit and was so happy to be there. 

 Uncle Bryan, Aunt Ashely, and KELLIE..KELLIE...KELLIE!!!  Kellie has taught all of the grand kids to chant her name whenever she enters the room.  It's hilarious!  The kids adore her.

 Andrew liked the tube just fine, but all he really wanted to do was jump in the lake and swim. 

 Then we had some pool time.  Doesn't that look inviting. 

 Aunt Kellie is the perfect swim partner.  She and Andrew were buds, let me tell you.  They jumped in together about a million times.  It was the cutest thing!

 This is all I could ever catch of Andrew jumping in.  He was so fast.  He would start really far back and run as fast as he could and do a big splash to end it!  Cutest. Thing. Ever.

 We also took Anna on the kayak.  It was super fun.  She loved it, as did I!

Pregnancy Update

This is my 30 week picture.  How about that back drop, huh?  We just got back from a trip to Georgia and Florida.  It was a great trip, with lots of details to come....

As far as pregnancy is goes, I'm feeling pretty good.  Since we've been staying at my mom's house for the past couple of weeks, my back pain has almost completely gone away.  I guess it's time for a new mattress pad.  I feel like I have lots of energy, (well until about 8:00 at night when I completely crash).  I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow with an ultrasound.  They're going to just check that the baby is growing enough so I'll keep you posted.  I feel like all of my boxes have now been checked for the summer.  All that is left to do is to just have Daniel.  Yay!  I still have tons of prepping to do before he gets here but that is always so exciting.  I can't wait to get all of his clothes organized and diapers bought and such.  I still need to make a car seat canopy and a baby quilt.  So, there are definitely things to do but those are "Daniel things".  We can't wait to see this little man.  I think our house will definitely be crazy but we're excited.

I'm almost at my 32 week mark.  Wow!

Preschool and Princesses

 We've been doing a preschool group for Anna for several months now.  There are four kids in our group and we swap off weeks of who is in charge.  Few things make Anna more excited than preschool.  She LOVES it!  Last week it was at our house.  We're missing one of the girls here.  Our focus on this day was the letter "K", so we all got to be "King for a day!"  The kids loved making their little crowns and surprisingly loved taking pictures in their crowns even more. 

King Miles was a tough king, as you can tell.  Argh!

 King Cami couldn't be sweeter if she tried.  So darling.

 I didn't explain that girls are queens and boys are kings because that would mess up my letter K lesson.  So we just went with it.  ;-)

Below is a picture I took right before Anna left with some of her friends for a "Princess Party".  Oh, she was SO excited.  She could not WAIT to go and came home bubbling over with excitement.

My Little Fishes

 These pics were taken a while ago but I thought I'd post them anyways.  My kids love swimming and it has been a favorite activity of the summer.  I love this picture above.  Anna is decked out in her swimwear and being a little mommy by carrying our beach bag.  She loves to be helpful.  Doesn't she look darling?

 Three squirt guns for a dollar turned out to be a great buy that entertained for a long time, even for Daddy-O.

 It won't be long and summer will be over!

Nauvoo

Josh and I had a GREAT weekend this past week.  My sweet parents flew in and we all took a trip up to Nauvoo, IL.  In case you don't know, Nauvoo is a big historic site for members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  We had such a fun time together.  My parents are just the best thing in the world!

Here we are on our drive up there.  Grandpa zonked out and Granny entertained.  We decided that we needed to take them along when we drive to GA.  They definitely got the hard job of keeping the kids occupied. 

The kids thought the monkey neck pillow was quite entertaining.

Here we are at a stop we made along the way.  Missouri is in such a drought.  The grass everywhere was super dead. 

Our first thing we got to go see were the oxen.  We went on a little oxen ride, and the kids were in heaven.  Anna told me that was her favorite part of the trip. 

There were so many interesting things we learned at this place.  It's just amazing how easy our lives are now compared to how hard it was back then. 

We could not pull Andrew away from this table if we wanted.  He loved playing with the play food and such.  That boy loves kitchen utensils!

Anna loved spinning this wheel.  They showed up how to make rope and Anna wanted in on the action. 

That night we went to this buffet that Nauvoo is supposedly famous for.  It was great!

Anna got to take home some rope that she spun and used it as a jump rope for the rest of the day.  She loves it!

This is Daddy and Anna on stage after the show, "Sunset by the Mississippi".  The show was great.  The whole time Andrew kept trying to run up on stage.  Oh boy!  How cute is this picture though?

Before the big pageant started, there was a fair where you could do things that the pioneers used to do for entertainment.  It was super fun.  The kids loved it.

Daddy pulling a handcart.  He ran up and down the field with the kids in the back.  Anna and Andrew were in heaven. 

Even Granny got in on it.  So fun!

It was a perfect weekend.  We loved every second of it and will never forget the good spirit we felt as we were there.
