Graduation

Dale and Bryan graduated last week. The ceremonies were great and we are very happy for them. Dale is going to Atlanta to work for Ernst & Young and Bryan is going to Columbus to work for Synovus. Jared also graduated and we got to go to dinner with him and my Aunt Lori and Uncle Dean. It was so fun. We just love them so much! Jared is going to go to graduate school in the fall.

Josh's 24th Birthday!

So, I have some more proof that I have the best wife in the entire world. Today is my 24th birthday and my amazing wife made it the best one I've ever had! Yesterday was the one year anniversary of our first date, so I took Diana out to eat at Cafe Rio (where we had our first date) to celebrate both our first date and my birthday. The food was incredible and the company was even better. At 6:45, we had plans to go play croquet with Stephanie and Jeremy at Kiwanis Park here in Provo. Diana insisted on driving and mysteriously parked further away than I ever would have. As we walked up, Jeremy, Stephanie, and Audrey came over, said hi, and then told us the croquet stuff was set up just across the field. When we made it over, all of my friends came out from behind a tree and said "Surprise!" I was sooooo surprised. Apparently Diana has been planning this party for weeks while I've been at school and work. It was so much fun! I was hoping to get all of our friends together before summer because some of them are leaving BYU for good (SAD DAY!), and so it was so perfect! We had some great treats, played frisbee, and just got to spend some good time together. It was so great!! I really have the best wife in the world. This morning, I was woken up with an amazing breakfast in bed (cinammon rolls and a smoothie) and my birthday presents. I couldn't be any luckier! I definitely married the right person for me!!!!

Sunday Dinner with Jeremy, Stephanie, and Audrey Lovelace

Yesterday, Jeremy, Stephanie, and Audrey Lovelace invited us over for Sunday dinner. It was so fun! We hadn't seen them in about 6 months becuase we are terrible friends. It was so great to see them again! Dinner was incredible. Stephanie made chicken cordon bleu, potatoes, and homemade french bread. So good! Audrey was barely walking last time we saw her and now she's running all over the place and talking up a storm. She's sooooo cute! She'd walk up to Diana and me and give us big hugs, or "loves" as she would call them. It was so amazing. We had such a great time talking with Jeremy and Stephanie. They are so easy going and we really couldn't ask for better friends. We're all going to get together again in a few weeks and have a fun date night. We can't wait!

Saturday Date Night

So, I pretty much have the most amazing wife in the entire world. On Saturday, I had to work a double shift at the MTC and when I finally got done, I called Diana to tell her I was coming home. She told me to wait there because she had a surprise for me. So I waited by my scooter and in a few minutes she arrived, blindfolded me, put me in the car, and drove me up to where the Y trail starts up the mountain. She had me wait for a few seconds while she got things ready and then had me get out of the car, come around to the back of the car, and take the blindfold off. There she had a blanket with an amazing dinner set up in the back of the car which was overlooking the city. It was perfect. We had homemade pizza and some really great dessert. I am the luckiest guy in the world!

Happy Easter!!!

Josh and I had
the most wonderful Easter! When I woke up this morning there was an empty spool with a string tied to it. Little did I know that the whole house was covered in a maze of pink string that would eventually lead me to my Easter basket. It was so much fun! I was totally surprised. Josh also surprised me with my favorite candy and apples in my basket, not to mention one of my new favorite movies, Enchanted. I hid Josh's basket deep within the confines of our closet! It took him a while to find it so we played the hot cold game! It was really fun! Tonight, we're having our family over for an Easter dinner and I'm making the traditional Bunny Cake. We're really excited!

Happy Easter!!

At Home

Things are great here in Provo. Diana and I had a really fun week. We went to a party at Rob and Allie's, Diana made homemade bread, we made chocolate-covered strawberries (our favorite), we made a "Lee" family board for our home, we watched "Hairspray," we finished "Harry Potter 3," and we got a lot of school work done. Diana took her Anatomy test on Saturday and she got an A! I am so proud of her! She definitely deserved it! She studied like crazy!
