Christmas in Georgia

We just got home from our trip to Georgia for the holidays. It was so fun to be with everyone and make so many wonderful memories. We're heading back in a couple of weeks to see my little sister, Kellie, get married to her sweetheart. It's definitely an exciting time for all of us.
Now, what's a trip to GA without one billion pictures? This post has pictures just from our first week there. Enjoy!

One of my favorite things about going to GA for Christmas is that we get to celebrate my mom's birthday. Her birthday is on the 19th and we love celebrating with her. Here are a few pics from her party.

We ordered Mexican food one night and Daniel could not get enough of the cheese dip. He was totally focused and would not even make eye contact with anyone as he licked the bowl clean.

Only a few more weeks as a single lady. ;-)

I think these are hilarious. Not one of them turned out but their faces are priceless. I'm on the other side of the camera yelling, "Anna! Anna! Andrew! Look right here! Look right here! Look right here! Look right here! Daniel!! Daniel!! Daniel!!" All the while, I'm blowing bubbles with my mouth and playing peek-a-boo. It's amazing how they can't all look at the same time.

I took his pacifier away from him. That pretty much sums up Daniel to a T. He is totally addicted.

He just can't even stand it for one more second. Talk about spoiled.

You can't tell from these pictures but Granny's hill is pretty steep. The kids think it's the most fun thing ever. In the summer, we take floats down the hill and act like we're sledding. It works amazingly. This time Andrew decided to do somersaults down the hill. After every roll, he would slide several feet because it was so steep. Andrew always has so much fun.

We had big plans to make real gingerbread houses this year. However, when it came time for it, we went the easy route and bought a kit. This was a chocolate gingerbread house kit and it was AWESOME! The house was so sturdy and easy to make. Plus, it tasted delicious.

I think Daniel loved making our chocolate house the most. He just sat on the counter eating candy the whole time and was in heaven. At Granny's house, all rules go out the window and we just have fun. It's so fun.

Uncle Greg had the job of putting Anna's new baby crib together because he is our engineer. ;-)

Aunt Steph and Uncle Anthony sent the kids these guns and they were a huge hit. I think this may have been the favorite toy of all. There were so many bad guys that were killed in GA.

Andrew got new trains for Christmas and the expression we all heard more than anything else was, "HEY, DO YOU WANT TO PLAY TRAINS WITH ME?" He would ask all of us over and over and over until we finally said yes. He'd make a great salesman because he is seriously persistent.

Uncle Greg brought in Anna's bike from Granny and Grandpa. She was a bit hesitant at first because it is bigger than her last one. It didn't take her long though and she got the hang of it. Bikes are a kid's best friend.

All Christmas morning, I kept feeling this little hand pushing on me. I'd look down and Daniel was pushing a piece of candy in my hand and saying, "glah glah glag". I'd open a piece of chocolate for him and he'd devour it. A few minutes later, we'd repeat the whole process.
