Christmas in Atlanta

Well, this is the beginning of many Christmas posts.  We went down to GA for our Christmas break and had such a blast!  This was the best trip to GA we've ever had.  It was so relaxing and super fun!  Just what the doctor ordered. We started out the trip in Atlanta at my brother's house.  It was so fun to all be together.  Some of our family was going to CA for Christmas so it was great to catch them before they left.

The woman behind all the work!  She did a great job getting everything ready for us.
The kid's table.  They loved being there without any parents.

We had a great "Christmas".  We opened presents with everyone that was leaving.  It was so much fun.

Granny bought Andrew this fireman's hat for Christmas.  When he put it on the other day, I asked him what he was.  He responded, "I'm a firate!".  It was so stinkin' cute.

 The whole gang!
Granny gave Anna a little baby doll, which she named Lauren.  She loves that baby!!
I just love this picture.  Granny and Grandpa with all their grandkids.

Anna and Andrew loved their cousins toy room.  They spent a lot of time up there!
Mr. Daniel, dead asleep through all the noise.
....and Daddy too.  We woke up at 2:30AM to leave for GA.  Josh drove the whole way.  He was fine until about dinner time and then he crashed.
We also got to see Josh's brother Greg and his family.  His wife, Karina, is also from Atlanta.  Luckily, they were there visiting at the same time.  It was so fun to see them and spend time with their adorable little Savannah.
More to come....

Visitors

At the beginning of December, we blessed our little Daniel in church.  We were so lucky to have both of our parents come out for the occasion.  Here are some pictures from the Lees visit.  We had so much fun with them.  We just wish it could have lasted longer.
(I don't know why but blogger is making my pictures all out of order, but you'll get the idea).
Here we are at the St. Louis Zoo.  It was a beautiful day and so much fun!

Grandma and Grandpa Lee really spoiled our little kids while they were here. They even took them to Build-a-Bear.  I've never been to one of those before.  It was so neat.  I loved it as much as the kids did.  Highly recommend it if you haven't been.  The kids were in heaven and each got to pick out their own stuffed animal.

Andrew picking out his heart to make his elephant alive.
First you have to rub it....
Then you have to shake it above your head.  After it's placed in the bear, she sews it up and the bear is finished.  So cute!
After all of that work, the bear needs a bath to get clean.
Then it was Anna's turn.  She chose a lion and named it Ariel.  Go figure!

Darling!

We also had a little Christmas while they were here.  It was so fun.  The kids just love their grandparents.

We all had a great time.  Hopefully it won't be too long before we can see them all again.

Christmas Party at the Church

Oh my goodness, I've never been so behind on blogging.  This past month and a half has been crazy busy and super fun!  We had such a great Christmas break.  We hope all of you did too.
This blog is about our church Christmas breakfast we had over a month ago.  We had a great time and even got to meet Santa.  Check it out!

This is how Daniel spent his time at the party.  What a party pooper, huh?  Just kidding.  It actually made it a lot easier for Mom and Dad.
This was so hilarious.  All Anna could talk about was Santa.  Santa this.  Santa that.  Then, when Santa comes in the room, she won't even turn and look at him.  She was so afraid.  She smiled but would not glance his direction to save her life.

Waiting in line to see Santa.

Daniel's first meet and greet with the Jolly Old Man!
When it got to be our turn,  Andrew started SCREAMING and running away as fast as he could.  He went crazy!  I couldn't calm him down for the life of me.  Then, someone behind us said that he gives out candy canes.  It was like someone flipped a switch.  He was immediately calm and went right up to him.  Holy cow!  It was so funny.  He even ended up giving him high fives him!  Crazy kid.

Lots, lots more to come... stay tuned!
